I started this course as a refresher of 200-hour YTT from a couple of years ago. After YTT I took a break from various poses as part of pregnancy, then a recovery hiatus for a few months after my baby was born. This was exactly what I needed. My biggest takeaway has been hand placements. I have never heard instructors talk about these in real life classes but my goodness, what a difference it makes to the whole experience.

In addition, I have really enjoyed having a deeper understanding of yoga. Understanding the ‘why’ of the pose and not just going through the motions. It’s really surprising how much I wasn’t focusing on my practice before. But now I’m am thinking about every foot placement, hand placement, and it’s opened up another level of the practice.
